Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a traffic accident with serious injury just before 9:00 a.m. at I-75 south at Pio Nono Avenue. It was reported that a 1998 Ford F-150 was traveling on I-75 south at Pio Nono Avenue off ramp, when it went off the roadway.
The male driver of the vehicle, whose name is not being released at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Leon Jones. The wife of the driver and their three children were transported to the Navicent Health Hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries. Their injuries are non-life threatening and they are listed in stable condition.
