Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 3734 Travis Blvd. at 2:21AM Tuesday morning in reference to a person shot. It was reported that 46 year old Leroy Murphy Jr. was asleep in his bed when he was awaken by the sound of several gun shots. It was reported that Murphy was rolling out of bed when he was struck in the leg. Murphy and three adult family members where present in the home when the residence was struck by gun fire. Murphy was transported to Navicent Health where he was treated. He is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in this incident. Wilson was not able to give any suspect information.
