Bibb County Sheriff’s Crimes Against Property Investigators made arrests on Monday, November 13, 2017 in reference to a vehicle that had been broken into on November 12, 2017 sometime between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. The 24 year old male victim’s vehicle, a 2014 Ford Focus, had run out of gas on I-75 South near Mercer University Drive. The victim, who is the owner of the Ford Focus, was able to maneuver the vehicle off the roadway and left to go get fuel. While he was gone the vehicle was entered into and some musical equipment in the vehicle was taken.

On Monday, November 13, 2017, deputies were dispatched to the Guitar Center located at 4551 Billy Williamson Drive in reference to a male and female attempting to sell some expensive guitar equipment. The victim of the Ford Focus had already made contact with employees at the Guitar Center just to let them know about the theft just in case the equipment was brought to their business. The equipment attempting to be sold was identified as the victim’s equipment stolen from the Ford Focus.

The male and female suspect was identified as 29 year old Brandon Hall and 23 year old Samantha Evans, both from Macon. Both were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Division to be questioned. During the investigation and interview it was discovered that Hall and Evans took the equipment out of the Ford Focus and attempted to sell the equipment at the Guitar Center. Brandon Hall was charged with Entering Auto, Theft by Deception. He has a bond set at $1,950.00, but also has a hold placed for Houston County Sheriff’s Office. Samantha Evans was charged with Entering Auto and Theft by Deception. She has a bond set at $1,950.00.
