Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of an alligator spotted near the levee road in Central City Park just before 7:15 a.m. Monday morning. Deputy Clay Williams and Animal Welfare Officer Bruce Rozier were able to catch the gator which was about 4 feet in length. After loading the gator into the Animal Welfare truck, the gator was taken to a remote location away from the Park and released. Other than being a little agitated, the gator was not harmed.
