Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a possible residential burglary in progress at 5281 Arkwright Road just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. It was reported that the house was not occupied and that there was someone seen with a flashlight in the house. When deputies arrived they found a vehicle parked in the yard with a white female inside the vehicle. Deputies entered the vacant home and found another white female inside the house.

Both women were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Investigations Division to be questioned. The female found in the vehicle was identified as Deborah Ruis, 62 years old, from Macon. The female found inside the house is Jada Bryant, 32 years old, from Macon. Both were charged with burglary. Bryant was also charged with a probation violation. Both were transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Ruis has a bond amount of $8,450.00. Bryant does not have a bond set at this time.
