The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an attempted armed robbery that took place just before 3:00A.M Sunday morning, at the Marathon Gas Station located at 3701 Pio Nono Avenue. It was reported that two black males entered the store demanding money. One of the suspects was brandishing a handgun. The clerk hid behind the counter. The suspects then fled the store on foot without getting anything. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspects was wearing dark clothes with their faces covered.
