The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping identify a suspect involved in the burglary of the Family Dollar, located at 160 Emery Highway. The incident took place on May 20, 2020 at around 7:47 a.m.

It was reported that a clerk arrived to open the store and found that the front window was missing. The store’s surveillance video showed a black male enter the store, wearing a black shirt, khaki pants, and white shoes. The male attempted to open the cigarette cabinet, but was unsuccessful. He then took several large boxes of M&M’S and Reese’s candy, totaling up to approximately $326.00 in value. The male was able to make entry into the store and exit, without triggering the alarm system.
