The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Robbery that happened just after 03:00pm. Monday evening, at 1212 Gray Hwy the McAfee Towers Apartments. It was reported that 86yr old Demille Dallas was walking his dog when he was approached by a black male asking for a ride. It was stated that when Dallas told the male that he could not because he was about to eat diner the suspect asked to join him. The suspect followed Dallas to his apartment. When Dallas opened his door the suspect shoved Dallas down and took twenty dollars from Dallas’ wallet. Dallas fought with the suspect and was injured on his left forearm when he fell. The suspect fled the area on foot.
The suspect was described as being around five foot eight inches tall, one hundred sixty pounds, wearing a white t-shirt and khaki pants and jacket. His hair and beard is partially graying. He is believed to be in his late sixties or early seventies. Pictures of the suspect are attached.
