The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping identify a person of interest in a commercial burglary investigation. Bibb Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to a report of a burglary that took place at Econo Carpet Sales located at 2622 Pio Nono Ave. The incident took place at around 3:09 a.m. Wednesday morning.
It was reported that a suspect shattered the front glass door. Once the suspect entered the business, he began to rummage through the drawers and cabinets. Once the alarm was activated, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. Five dollars in change was taken from the cash register according to the business owner.
