Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 3840 Pionono Avenue, Cricket Wireless, at around 5:30 p.m. Monday in reference to a theft. It was reported that two males entered the store and one asked about I-phones. During the encounter, one of the males grabbed two I-Phones from the top of the counter and both males fled the store. The male suspects left in what was described as a silver vehicle.

At around 8:00 p.m. a Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted a silver infinity, which was thought to be the Make of the suspect vehicle, on I-475 near Zebulon Road. The deputy attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver refused to stop. The vehicle pursuit ended near the Bolingbroke exit at I-475. Two suspects exited the vehicle and ran away on foot. A third suspect in the vehicle was detained. He was identified as 22 year old Jalen Trevon Ector of Atlanta. Ector was transported back to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Office and interviewed. He was charged with theft by receiving stolen property and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charges. He has a bond set at $5,350.00.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies and Georgia State Patrol Troopers searched the surrounding area, to include an air search, where the other two suspects had fled.  A lookout was placed on the fleeing suspects. One suspect is described as a black male, dressed as a female. He was last seen wearing a red wig and wearing a black shirt. He was also described as being a large person and having facial hair. The second suspect was described as a black male. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black ball cap.
