Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrested a suspect in connection to an entering auto investigation that occurred on January 24, 2019.

It was reported that two vehicles were entered in the Drury Drive area of north Macon at around 4:00a.m, Thursday morning. The suspects were caught on surveillance cameras as they committed the entering autos.

A “look-out” was given on the suspects and the suspect vehicle that was used in these crimes. The suspect vehicle was described as a possible gold colored Honda or Toyota vehicle. The vehicle had damage to the driver’s side door and a missing hub cap on the driver’s side front wheel.

Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol deputies located the vehicle on Interstate 75 at around 4:00p.m. Friday afternoon. The vehicle fit the description given and the owner of the vehicle was identified as possibly one of the suspects involved in these two the entering auto incidents that occurred the night before.

The suspect that was driving the vehicle was identified as 24-year-old Marquis Antonio George. After being interviewed by Property Crime Investigators, George was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. George is currently being held for two counts of Entering Auto, with a $2400. Bond.

This investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available. Additional arrests are pending further investigation.
