Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies, with assistance from Georgia State Patrol arrested 37 year old Jonathan Lamar McBride. He is charged with criminal attempt to commit armed robbery of the Waffle House, located at 4285 Pio Nono Ave. The incident occurred at 4:16am Sunday morning. It was reported that McBride entered the Waffle House and made an order. After making his order McBride demanded money from the employee. When the employee advised McBride they could not open the register he fled the store. Deputies gave a look-out for McBride vehicle. Georgia State Patrol spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. After a brief vehicle chase McBride was detained.
McBride was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge of criminal attempt to commit a felony.
