Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 21-year-old Jonas Mason Walker and 18-year-old Brandon Jaden Cole in connection to the Aggravated Assault incident that occurred on August 27, 2020.
Walker was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, on warrants for three counts of Aggravated Assault and Criminal Damage to Property. Walker is being held without bond.
Cole was also arrested on warrants for three counts of Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage to Property, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (firearm) and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. Cole is being held without bond at this time.

Aggravated Assault Incident on Montpelier Avenue
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred near the intersection of Montpelier and Pio Nono Avenue at 9:43 p.m. on August 27, 2020.
Deputies responded to an address on Napier Avenue regarding a person shot. Upon arrival, deputies found that an 18-year-old female had been shot once in the left arm. It was reported that the female victim, and her two passengers, were driving on Montpelier Avenue at Pio Nono Avenue when they heard what they thought was a car backfiring. It was at this time that the driver, an 18-year-old female, realized that she had been shot and then drove from the area before calling the Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and treated and released for her injuries. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no information on the suspect currently.
