Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 18 year old Malik Bonner and two male juveniles ages 14 and 15 in reference to an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred on May 24, 2017; at a residence in the 100 block of Comer Terrace, just before 7:30P.M. It was reported that Bonner and the two male juveniles were arguing with 17 year old Derick Ivey about five dollars in cash that Ivey owed to 14 year old juvenile. It was reported that during the argument the 15 year old juvenile retrieved a handgun and fired several shots. It was discovered that 17 year old Shelna Hicks was struck in the left leg by one of the bullets. Hicks was driven to the Coliseum Medical Center by a relative and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in the incident.

Bonner was transported to the Bibb COunty Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division where he was interviewed. Bonner is being charged with (1) count of Affray. Bonner was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he was booked. The 14 year old was charged with Affray and released to the custody of his parent. The 15 year old was charged with (3) counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Handgun by a minor, (1) count of reckless conduct and (1) count Affray. The 15 year old was transported and booked into the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center.
