Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators make an arrest in the aggravated assault that occurred outside of 425 Cherry Street, at the Thirsty Turtle, just after 2:00 a.m. January 12, 2018. It was reported that Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies received information just after 12:00PM from the Macon-Bibb 911 Dispatch that an anonymous tip was called in. The caller reported the person involved in the shooting incident was at Billy’s Clubhouse located at 1580 Forest Hill Road. Deputies went to this location and made contact with the male subject. The male was transported to the Criminal Investigations Division to be interviewed. The male was identified as 25 year old Robert Lee Morris.
Morris was charged with aggravated assault. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. No bond has been set.
