Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a Macon man Friday morning, in connection with an aggravated assault and personal armed robbery incident that occurred on July 09, 2018.

It was reported that the victim, Bryan Freeman of Macon, drove to the M&M grocery, located on Montpelier Ave. After leaving the store, the Freeman turned onto Pansy Avenue, where several people were standing in the middle of the roadway. When the Freeman stopped his vehicle, a male suspect opened the passenger door and removed several items from the vehicle. During the incident, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from Freeman. He told the suspect that he didn’t have anything and attempted to speed away. The suspect fired a gunshot, striking the Freeman in both legs.

Freeman drove himself to the hospital to be treated. Freeman has since been released.

Investigators issued warrants for 21 year old Drequan O’Shay Taylor, for the charges of Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault. Taylor is currently in jail, without bond.
