The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place just before 07:00a.m Monday morning, at the Sunrise Store located at 3750 Mercer University Dr. It was reported that two black males entered the store demanding money. Both suspects were brandishing a handguns. After getting an undisclosed amount of money and the Clerk’s cell phone the suspects then fled the store on foot. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspects were wearing dark clothes with their faces covered.
