On May 22, 2019, just before 10:30 a.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested a Macon man for the aggravated assault that happened on May 13, 2019.
Due to the victim’s injuries she was not able to speak to Investigators until May 20, 2019. It was reported that 29-year-old Dwayne Eddie Williams Jr. had struck the victim in the face with his hands and a weapon. Williams then left her on the porch where she was found. It is unclear as to the motive for the assault at this time.
The female victim is still in the hospital receiving treatment for her injuries. She is listed in stable condition at this time.
Williams was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Bibb County Jail on the charge of Aggravated Assault. He is being held on a $16,700.00 at this time.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Aggravated Assault Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in an aggravated assault investigation. On May 10, 2019 at around 4:51 a.m., Bibb Sheriff’s patrol deputies were called to the 1400 block of Brentwood Avenue. It was reported that a female was found on the porch of a residence, with multiple injuries to her face and head. The female was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for her injuries. The victim is in stable condition.
