The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an aggravated assault that took place in the 800 block of Patton Avenue, near the intersection of Carnation Street. The incident took place at around 12:45a.m. Sunday morning.

According to witness statements, a party was taking place at 811 Patton Avenue when an altercation occurred. Two individuals who were at the party were reported to have been shot.

Tyler Stallings, age 21 from Macon, was shot in the leg and was transported to the Navicent by ambulance and is listed to be in stable condition. Keyonte Chapman, age 20, also from Macon, was shot in the hip area and was transported to the Navicent by ambulance and is listed to be in critical, but stable condition.

Investigators are looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident and working on identifying the individuals involved in the altercation.
