The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a person shot that took place near the intersection of Thomas Street and Houston Avenue. The incident occurred at around 5:16 a.m.
It was reported that a 26-year-old male was asking a group of people to move their vehicle from the middle of the road, when shots were fired striking the male in the chest.
The victim was transported to the hospital by friends. He is listed to be in stable condition. No one else was injured during this incident.
No suspect information is available.
