The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a person shot that took place at the parking lot of the USA Grocery, located at 2590 Rocky Creek Road. The incident occurred at around 9:36 p.m.
It was reported that a 41-year-old male was standing outside of the store talking with some acquaintances, who were sitting inside of a vehicle. A dark colored sedan with approximately two occupants was traveling down Rocky Creek Road. Shots were fired from the sedan, towards the male, striking him several times.
The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance. He is listed to be in stable condition.
