The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an aggravated assault incident. The incident occurred at the intersection of Holt Avenue at February Avenue. The incident took place just after 12:00 p.m.
A call of a person shot was called into the E- 911 center. It was reported that the male victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle, with a non-life-threatening injury to the leg. When deputies arrived on scene, they made contact with a male that was at this location and detained him in reference to questioning. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.Further information will be released when it becomes available.
