The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at Pendleton Homes located at 3401 Houston Avenue. The incident took place just after 4:00 a.m. Friday morning.
It was reported that the victim, a 31-year-old male, was lying in bed when someone fired several shots through the bedroom window striking him in the upper chest.
The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived. No suspect information is available at this time.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is listed to be in stable condition.
This incident is currently under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
