The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred near the intersection of Chambers Road and Eisenhower Parkway at 02:55 a.m.
It was reported that a 30-year-old male was walking on Chambers Road when he heard several shots. The victim was struck once in the chest. He then went to the Circle K, 4775 Chambers Road, to call the Sheriff’s Office. The victim was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center. He is listed in critical but stable condition at this time. There is no information on the suspect at this time. No one else was injured during the incident.
