The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred at 1745 Rocky Creek Road, Autumn Trace Apartments just after 12:26a.m. Friday morning. It was reported that 23yr old Frannes Finnell was visiting this location when an unknown suspect fired several shots through the door of this location. It was reported that Finnell returned fire from the inside of the apartment through the door. It was reported by witnesses that Finnell was struck in the leg. Finnell was not on scene when deputies arrived. Investigators checked all local hospitals and currently Finnell has not checked himself into a hospital or contacted law enforcement. No one else was injured in the incident. No other information on a suspect(s) is available at this time.
