The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the parking lot of the Palm Tree Extended Stay Hotel at 2690 Riverside Dr. just after 5:00a.m. Saturday Morning. It was reported that 28yr old Patrick Shawn McCumber of Warner Robins was in the parking lot of the hotel when he was assaulted by unknown number of male subjects, during the incident McCumber was shot in the groin area by one of the suspects. There is no information on the suspects at this time. McCumber was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident.
