The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an aggravated assault that took place just before 5:00P.M, near the intersection of Montpelier Avenue and Courtland Ave. It was reported that there was an altercation between multiple subjects in a Silver car. During the altercation 23yr old Romare Jamond Gooden was shot it the right thigh. Gooden was transported to the Navicent Health and is listed in stable condition. The incident is still under investigation. There is no information on the suspect at this time.
