The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a person shot that took place just before 10:00P.M on Saturday night, in the 2000 block of Melton Ave. It was reported that a 31yr old Brandon Lucas was getting out of his vehicle when he heard shots being fired. Lucas was struck in rear upper thigh. He was laying in the yard of an abandoned house at 2058 Melton Avenue. Lucas was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident. There is not further information on the suspect.
