After the conclusion of the autopsy of the infant. Investigators issued warrants for 21 year old Carla Rochelle Pounds for the murder of 1 year old De’Yuntis Pounds.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Infant Death
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators made an arrest during the course of the investigation into the death of 1 year old De’Yuntis Pounds. The incident took place Wednesday morning at an apartment, located at 3401 Houston Avenue.
Investigators arrested the mother, 21 year old Carla Rochelle Pounds for the charge of Cruelty to Children- first degree.
This investigation is ongoing. An autopsy will take place on Thursday in an effort to determine the cause of death of the child.
