Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators have determined after further investigation that this incident is now a homicide. Kenny Whitehead now has additional charges of murder and rape added to his current charges of necrophilia. This case is still actively being investigated. The family of the victim has been notified of her death. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing the victim’s information due to the charges and nature of this incident.

Death Investigation at Daybreak
Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 174 Walnut Street , Daybreak Day Resource Center, just after 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning in reference to a complaint of two people having intercourse on the front steps of this location. When deputies arrived they found the two having intercourse. After the male was asked to get dressed it was discovered that the female was unresponsive. Emergency services determined that the female had been deceased for some time.
At this time the cause of death is still under investigation. It does not appear to be any foul play at this time. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. Investigators arrested 55-year-old Kenny Obyran Whitehead and charged him with necrophilia. Whitehead does not have a bond.
