Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators make additional arrests during the investigation of the June 19, 2017 homicide that occurred at 152 Bradstone Circle. Tomekeio Purnell, 40 years old, of Macon, who is the mother of suspect 16 year old Aurie Mathis, was arrested for interference with custody. It was reported that Purnell was made aware by the Department of Juvenile Justice that Mathis had an active pickup order prior to the Bradstone incident. Purnell failed to report Mathis’ location. Kwanjelin Mills, 30 years old, of Macon, was arrested for hindering the apprehension of Mathis. It was discovered during the investigation that Mills helped Mathis in avoiding arrest.
