The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators along with the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, make an additional arrest in the homicide investigation of 16yr old Kendrick Davis. Coravius Hassan Ates, age 19, was arrested Tuesday at around 11:55a.m. A Crime Stoppers tip was called in and law enforcement authorities. Ates was located at a residence on Cochran Avenue, in east Macon.
Ates was arrested without incident. Ates is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex for the charge of murder. Ates also has a separate charge in connection to an, personal armed robbery that occurred on October 13, 2018, in east Macon. Ates is being held, without bond.
