Bibb County Sheriffâs Office investigators arrested 26-year-old William Guy Johnson in connection to the attempted armed robbery that occurred at the Sprint gas station, located at 3198 Mercer University Drive, on November 21, 2020.
It was reported that after further investigation warrants were issued and served on Johnson, after he was identified as a suspect in this case. Deputies arrested Johnson on an unrelated incident on Tuesday.
He was transported to the Bibb County Criminal Investigations Office to be interviewed. After Johnson was interviewed, he was transported to the Bibb County jail and booked on charges of Terroristic Threats and Acts and Armed Robbery. Johnson is being held without a bond at this time.
